Happy Independance Day
For our first 4th of July... First We woke up at 5 am to feed the Twins oh, I am sorry did I say We I meant I woke up to feed the Twins. 6 am I got into the shower to get ready for the day We were invited to go to a parade in Kailua on the other side of the Island (I love to say that although it is only like 20 miles away from our house.) So We went with Jerry and his Family to the parade that lasted one and a half hours. The Twins were great. We had got there early to get a spot and Davis and Blake played with Jerry's boys catching LIZARDS (boys will be boys) after a while of that Davis said this is a dumb parade mom. I told him that it hadn't even started yet. They loved the parade and had so much fun. We went back to Jerry's house were the kids all played outside we sat around and talked until we ran out of diapers for the Twins and then had to go home. We were invited to a BBQ with some people in our ward but by the time we got home Blake was asleep and I had to feed the twins by the time that had all wrapped up it was to late to go to the BBQ so we went up to Kapolie to watch fireworks they were good but I think next year we will go to the Ala Moana to watch the big show. We only have 2 more 4Th's here!

While I was cleaning

On Tuesday I was cleaning the Bathrooms upstairs, I left the Twins downstairs with Davis and Blake. They were quiet the hole time I was cleaning. Davis came upstairs and said "Do You want to look at some pictures that I took?" I said "Yes" well here they are Davis and Blake had so much fun taking them, they are so proud of these that I just had to laugh.
I can't tell them a part in these pictures, but I think the top one is Clay, the second might be Clay too. Oh heck what do I know, I don't know which is which in these hat pictures.

I took the twins to their two week check up. They are both doing great! When they were born Cache weighed 5.7 and Clay weighed 6.1, they both lost weight in the hospital, which Y'all know happens and they don't worry about it to much until they loose 10% of their birth weight. Well nursing two they both lost around 7%. At their check up 2 days after leaving the hospital they had both gained 3 ounces the doc was glad to see them doing good. Monday I took them for their the two week and Cache now weights 6 pounds and Clay weights 6.8. They even have little bums now when they were born they had no bottom at all.

Mom if you click on the pictures they will open in another window and be big so you can see what the twins look like.
Top picture Clay is head up Cache head down. I think that it is funny to put them like this, it is how they were inside me and they kick each other and don't care it is fun to watch
Clay on the left and Cache on the right
Cache about to kick Clay in the face
No harm was made to the twins in the taking of these pictures.

My two week check up
So today is a busy day for me. Jarod went back to work this morning, so I tried to let him sleep last night. I took care of the twins all by myself not so easy if you ask me. Jarod woke up twice once to bring me Cache from upstairs and the second time was when I was changing Clay and he was crying Jarod came to see if he could help. Back to the story, my Doctor apt. was at 9:45am I know that is not to early but I have never had to take four boys with me either. We made it on time Davis and Blake were so good yep my kids were the biggest helpers they probably knew I would have a melt down if I had to fight them. The Doc said everything looks good and I can do almost anything now. I take the Twins to their two week check up at 2:15pm and I will let ya know how they are doing.

Finally here!!!
Monday morning I had my last Doctor appt. at 9:45am. I had been having contractions all sunday night and into the morning, I knew better than to pack a bag because I knew he would tell me one more week. At the Doctor, I waited the 20 min to get in they weighed me and took my blood presure, took me back into the room. Doctor Oh came in asked me how I was doing I said good, He told me to keep my apt. for the next day for nst testing. That is when I told him "Well I am in labor and having contractions every 7-8 min." He asked for how long, I said well last night they were every ten min. He said well let me check you. To his surprise I was fully thined out and dilated to a 4. He said lets do an ultrasound to see where Baby B's head is, well I can tell you where it is UNDER MY RIBS! So He did the ultrasound couldn't find his head so I showed him he was shocked that it really was under my ribs. He told me to go to the Hospital and he would meet me there for a C-Section. I walked out of his office so excited I DON'T HAVE TO BE PREGNANT ANYMORE!!!
I drove to Honolulu and picked up Jarod from work and we almost ran out of gas so we had to stop and fill up. We get to the hospital, check in and they do another ultrasound just to make sure Baby B's (Clay) head is still under my ribs Oh yes it was. It took about an hour to get ready for the C-Section mostly we were waiting for an OR. and away we went. Jarod in a painters suit and me laying in a bed off to our latest adventure. Cache came first, one minute here came Clay back first, the picture really looks like it hurt. Thank you for the DRUGS!!! Both of the Boys were crying so I knew that they were good to go. The C-Section wasn't as bad as I thought, I am still healing but its all good. We came home on Thursday, took the Twins to the Doc on sat they had both gained about 3 ounces after loosing a little at first. The Doc was surprised that I am nursing them both. We are glad to be home and to have everything go so good and I am glad that I am not PREGNANT anymore.

Pregnancy update
So last Friday I had an ultrasound. They aren't to fun anymore the babies are so big that it is hard to see them. Baby B is estimated to be 5.2 pounds and A is 4.11 now they say they can be off and they probably are about A because the tech didn't do the best job. Anyway the Doc that reads the ultrasound said that things look good, but that now I need to have the stress test done twice a week to keep a better eye on them. So I went to have the stress test done on Tuesday my apt. was at 10am. I got up that day Davis didn't have school because of teacher work day so Cathy stayed home with Davis and Blake. I had breakfast at around 7:30 a bowl of cereal, got in the shower and left the house at about 9am. Got to my apt they were so busy so I sat there for 1 hour and 45 min. That sucked!!! When it was my turn I went in they put a monitore on each baby and watch them for at least 20 min but up to 40 min. Baby B decided to get the hick-ups for 10 min so they had to wait for him to calm downt to do the test. Well both baby's failed. They look for certain ups and downs in their heart beats and other things, so they sent me to have another ultrasound they put the picture on baby A first for 30 min and watch him. Then Baby B for 30 min by this time it is 1:30pm and I haven't eaten anything since breakfast so both baby's didn't move. Because they failed the ultrasound too they admitted me into the hospital for 24 hours to monitor the Twins well I get there and ate well they went crazy so after my 24 hours of being strapped to monitors in bed I got to go home. The crazy thing is I go to the Doctor tomorrow and back to the stress test tomorrow afternoon. We will see what happens. I am 35 weeks 4 days and I can't believe that I am still pregnant with twins I never thought that my body could do this. Good thing it never has to again.

Jarods mom and dad came on May 5, to visit us! They took the kids to Pearl Harbor, they didn't care that they had already been they love the USS Missouri! We all went to the Polynesian Center, that was cool. The kids loved it and it was neat to see, the diner was good before they let you eat they give you a chance to see where they cooked the pork in the big fire pit Blake wouldn't eat it after he saw it he said Mom don't eat that Hog. After diner is the dancing Blake was so tired but he made it he just kept saying I want to see the fire guy. That was no disappointment for him the kids were glued to the show. Arland went home on the 10th but Cathy stayed Yeah! she is going to stay until the twins are born. Thank you so much it is nice to know we don't have to worry about Davis and Blake while we are at the hospital. We just hang out during the day putting puzzles together. I have contractions all the time but no labor yet, I am happy to say that Brad Pits wife is pregnant with twins and due in Aug. she is way bigger than me.

Davis said...
So the other night We were having Family prayer and the kids were goofing around(what Else is new). Jarod said boys you need to remember who We talk to when We pray. We need to remember to be very respectful. Davis said I know We talk to Heavenly Father, and if He is on a break We talk to Christ.
