The cast is off

Blake got his cast off on Tuesday, I got the boys out of school early to go to the Doctor to get Blakes cast off. Blake was so brave, Davis thought that they were going to saw off his arm he was worried. After they sawed two sides of the cast she cut the material with scissors and off it came!
Jarod went with Blake to get his arm X-rayed to make sure that it is healing. Davis and I stayed in the room with the Twins where Davis told me how he wanted a cast and the color that he would chose.
The Doctor came in a told us all that his arm looks great. We do need to go back next year to get a x-ray to look at the growth plate. No bike riding for 2 more weeks.
We walked out of the Doctor office and down the hall when Blake said "I wish I still had my cast." Well not me that thing was so stinky I am glad it is gone.

Davis on the zip line, Jarod what are you thinking this is where Blake broke his arm. I almost had a heart attack.
The boys were playing tag, Davis is climbing up the slide to avoid getting touched.

Blake is really good with his cast he doesn't even know that it is there anymore. He is getting so big, he is so sweet and cute.
We had a great time at the park, even though we had to walk ALL THE WAY THERE ( it took us like 3 min.)

At the park on a sunny afternoon. We put the twins on the grass to get some snap shots. The top picture is Clay, the middle picture is Cache.

They decided they didn't like the grass.

SHHH they are sleeping

I snuck in the Twins room the other night to check on them and then had to go get the camera. I couldn't get both of their bodies in the shot they are to big. They were laying the same way and we always put them on opposite sides of the crib.

Sleep over

Last Friday night Eric came to sleep over. The boys had so much fun. They stayed up late and played Wii, Blake fell asleep on the couch but Davis and Eric were still going strong. Saturday morning we had french toast with Hawaiian Sweet Bread the stuff is awesome, Davis is getting so big he eats 3 slices. We love having Eric and his sister Dara over they are great kids. Blake and Eric are on the same baseball team and ya we have him playing with his cast.

Blake and Eric are in the same class at school and their teacher treats them like twins it is funny.

NEW YEARS EVE

We had a great New Years Eve. We started the night off with some snakes the kids thought that was way cool. Then we went for take out pizza, came home and ate and drank out of celebrations glasses (thats what the kids called them). We played Wii and had a great time the kids stayed up late. At 10 p.m. I asked Jarod if he thought that at midnight the fireworks would get any louder he said oh yes, they were already really loud and they had been going for 4 hours already surely people would run out. At midnight we watched the fireworks from our bedroom window it was amazing we had never seen anything like it. We could see 4 different FIREWORK shows and then all the neighbors letting off their own. The sky was so hazy you couldn't see far at all. We went to bed at about 1 a.m. yes the fireworks were still going but at this time it is like white noise. We woke up when it started to rain at 3 a.m. which we were thankful for because that is when the Island got quiet. Anybody looking for a good time at New Years next year come on and stay with us!

Davis went to Schofield Air force base with the scouts. They crawled through the mud, watch dogs break into buildings, play hide and seek with cameo on. They did so many neat things there his favorite part was the mud when he came home he came in the front door and Jarod hurried him to the back for a spray down with the hose.
